Meetings

Metro Detroit HELP meetings are open to people with herpes and their partners. The meetings have varying formats including discussion, videos, and speakers. The purpose is to share our strength, knowledge, and experience. Many of our members have 10 or more years experience dealing with herpes. Feedback from other members often helps to see things from a different, more positive perspective. Social events are sometimes planned. These events give us a chance to socialize in an open atmosphere. There is also a more informal get together at a local restaurant after each meeting. Enter the building on Brady St. You may need to tell security you are there for a meeting in room 815. You may also need to show ID.

We have been advised that you should not attend a meeting on a day when you have a contagious illness (flu, colds, etc).

If you are interested in carpooling to the Metro Detroit HELP meetings please contact us. If we can we'll put you in contact with another person near you. Or if you are a new member and wish to go to the meeting with someone else, please contact us.

  Facilitator

We need volunteers to host and facilitate for our monthly meetings. We'd like to share the load and get the benefit and experience of many people. You can volunteer to host them on an ongoing basis or volunteer to host one or two. If you'd like to help facilitate a meeting you can find out more here.
